Volunteer Agreement

Thank you for choosing to volunteer with Raise. We want your involvement to feel supportive, meaningful and optional at all times.

This agreement describes how we work together. It is not legally binding and does not create an employment relationship. It can be paused or ended at any time by you or by Raise.

What Raise commits to:

We will:

  • Welcome you warmly and treat you with respect

  • Provide clear information about sessions and activities

  • Offer a calm, supportive, neuroaffirming environment

  • Help you participate at your own pace

  • Provide safety guidance

  • Support travel expenses where agreed

  • Keep your personal information safe and confidential

What we ask from volunteers:

Please:

  • Treat others with respect and kindness

  • Recognise the neuroaffirming and inclusive nature of the group

  • Let us know if you cannot attend a session you planned to join

  • Ask for support, breaks or adjustments whenever needed

  • Participate only in ways that feel safe and comfortable for you

  • Share any concerns with us so we can respond and support you

We understand:

  • Needs and comfort levels can vary from day to day

  • Communication styles differ and all are welcome

  • Participation is always voluntary

  • Resting, stepping back or observing is valid and valued
